Todd J. Wimberley
Attorney
Todd J. Wimberley is a Louisiana man through and through. Born and raised in Church Point, Louisiana, Todd built his legal career on the basis of fighting for Louisiana residents. Todd is dedicated to representing landowners in complex Legacy litigation arising from historical oil and gas operations and our fight to restore the Louisiana coast.
For generations, Louisiana families have entrusted their land to oil and gas operators. When that land is contaminated with hydrocarbons, brine, heavy metals, or other oilfield wastes, landowners often face an uphill battle against well-funded corporate defendants. Todd stands with property owners to hold operators accountable and to ensure that damaged property is properly investigated, remediated, and restored in accordance with state law.
Todd works closely with environmental consultants, geologists, engineers and other experts to uncover the full extent of contamination, challenge inadequate remediation proposals, and advocate for results that truly protect the landowner’s property and future use.
A lifelong Louisianian with a deep appreciation for the state’s agricultural and rural heritage, Todd understands that our cases are about more than contamination—they are about family land, generational wealth, and stewardship. He represents individuals, families, companies and government entities in all aspects of environmental litigation and regulatory matters. Todd also manages real estate transactions and investments involving contaminated industrial assets.
Whenever he is not working, Todd enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking and traveling.
