Christopher D. Martin

Attorney

Christopher D. Martin is an attorney practicing in the firm’s Environmental Litigation Practice Group. Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from LSU in 1997, and thereafter worked as an engineer in the oil and gas, and specialty chemical industries for several years. 

He is a 2006 graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where he graduated magna cum laude, was selected Order of the Coif, and was a member of the Louisiana Law Review. Before joining the firm, Chris previously practiced commercial litigation for over ten years with Jones Walker, LLP in Baton Rouge. Chris is also active in the community and, among other things, currently serves as the board chair for Adult Literacy Advocates of Greater Baton Rouge.  

When not working, he enjoys spending time with his children and his wife Caroline, running and playing tennis, and coaching youth sports.
